In order to combat the ever increasing number of bad actors on the internet, and the proliferation of bots, it is necessary to put newly registered members into a limited-access user group. Members in this group require moderator approval of their posts, cannot send direct messages, and have a few other restrictions to limit the ability of bad actors to cause disruptions. Real community members will easily satisfy the requirements to become "Established," which are these three things:
1. Be a member for 7 days.
2. Have posted 10 times and had the post approved.
3. Have an avatar. It doesn't have to be great, it just has to be something.
We know this is a little inconvenient, but we want our community to be a safe haven in this dangerous world. Thank you for being understanding as we take steps to keep it that way!
