These are the rules of our Site.
These Rules exist to keep our community safe and friendly. They apply to all areas of this Site, without exception. They are subject to change at any time, without prior notice.
1. NO MINORS. NO EXCEPTIONS.
You must be at least 18 years old to have a membership here. No exceptions. Although this is not a sex/porn website, the fact that we exercise a no-minors policy here still raises suspicion with the unintelligent powers-that-be; after all, we are "Rated R", and NOT "Rated X". If you haven't had your 18th birthday yet, come back the day you do...we'll welcome you with open arms. Until then...please don't try.
2. Be Honest; It Pays Well.
No lying, especially about who you are (including your age/DOB) or when answering questions from a Staffer. Fictional stories can only be posted without a warning label in the Fictional story subforum; anywhere else, fictional stories must be clearly labeled as fiction. Misrepresenting a fictional story as a true story is considered lying; first violation will result in the violator's account being Moderated for 3 hours; second offense will result in moderation for 24 hours; third violation will result in account deletion and ban.
3. No Pornography, Sexually Explicit Material, or Nudity.
This rule prohibits you from posting/uploading any content clearly intended to arouse, or any content depicting nudity. Nudity, for the purpose of this prohibition, means uncovered breasts, buttocks, or genitalia. This is your only warning; it can get us in trouble with other countries' laws. Your first violation is your last; you will be deleted and banned if you violate it.
4. No Inappropriate Usernames or Photos of Your Face/Tattoos.
Usernames cannot be violent or vulgar, be sexually-charged, be too detailed about diaper use, be otherwise disgusting or intended to deceive other users. Do not upload photos of drugs, drug paraphernalia or drug use. This is NOT the place for that. Do not upload images of your face on this site for any reason, in any manner; do not upload images of your tattoos for public view. We value your complete privacy so others can't dox you.
5. Be Polite.
⦁ Respect others, even if/when you disagree with their viewpoint or opinion;
⦁ No bullying, insults, threats or personal attacks;
⦁ No name-calling; do not announce that you have/may/will put someone on Ignore;
⦁ No aggressive backseat modding (i.e., harassing or intimidating new members because you think they violated the rules).
⦁ New sub-rule: NO slandering of ANYONE here, including Company Reps. Just NO. Please, be civil. We're adults!
6. Be a Positive Influence.
⦁ Posts which are mature, interesting, intelligent, insightful, humorous and/or supportive make everyone's day;
⦁ Don't create posts that are spammy, immature, aggressive, condescending, solely about the condition of your diaper, vulgar and/or which drag the talk off-topic;
⦁ Don't do things that give AB/DLs a bad name, such as scaring or sickening non-ABDLs by exhibitionism.
7. We Do Not Discriminate So Don't Discriminate.
Here, we provide equal footing for everybody, regardless of age (provided members are at least 18 years of age), ethnicity, color, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, etc.. Everybody has equal rights and there are no special rights given nor any rights withheld on the basis of the aforementioned differences. Slurs expressed or implied will be promptly acted upon and the violator punished swiftly and decisively. We don't put up with that tripe here. If you can't go along with it, then leave now. And don't return until you can.
8. Respect the Law, Respect Yourself and Respect Us.
⦁ No breaking the law; no encouraging anyone else to break the law.
⦁ Discussing the use of marijuana (organic or synthetic), hemp, other drugs illegal at the Federal level of the United States or alcohol in a way that encourages or glorifies their use is prohibited.
⦁ No asking how to, or encouraging anyone else to engage in, self-harm. Deliberately making yourself incontinent counts as self-harm. Coaxing or encouraging others to harm themselves, use/abuse drugs or attempt/commit suicide also falls in this category.
⦁ Any member who comes to our attention as being a registered sexual offender or is under investigation of such will have their account LOCKED (i.e., moderated, with name in red text) and WILL be investigated. Suspects under investigation will have their accounts restored once they are cleared; those unable to clear an investigation or are convicted will be immediately reported to their local law enforcement agencies, investigators, parole/probation officers...will have their information and all posts forwarded to law enforcement, then their accounts will be deleted and they will be banned for life. We do not tolerate or harbor those with convictions of rape, incest, bestiality or pedophilia.
9. No Personal Ads.
We are all about friends: making friends, keeping friends...but this is not the place to look for a mate, a sitter or a 'parental'. You're lookin' for love in all the wrong places here. We neither allow nor put up with looking for others. We're a community, not a meat-market.
10. Use Readable English.
We are an American-based site with an English-language default. All communication must be in readable English. No "txt-speak", babytalk, or incomprehensible grammar.
11. Accounts Must Be Personal.
⦁ Each user must have their own account. Accounts may not be shared by multiple users. The only exception is that a single account shared between domestic partners is acceptable as long as the account is clearly described as such in the profile page, and both partners adhere to the forum rules. We would ask that the partners "sign" their postings, so that readers can tell which partner made it. It must also be understood that if the domestic partnership is dissolved, SPANDI is not responsible to arbitrate an account possession dispute, and will not do so.
⦁ Members must not register/use more than one account here, unless it is necessary because you lost the password to your first account and cannot reset it using the "forgot password" feature. Anyone who maintains more than one account here will have their newest accounts deleted, will be moderated, and can be subject to dismissal with full deletion of account.
12. Crotch Shots and Other Image Rules.
⦁ Crotch shots are pictures that show exclusively, or primarily, someone’s "diaper area" front, back, or side. Don’t use a crotch shot as your forum avatar or profile picture. Putting them in your media uploads or forum posts are allowed, so long as they are not sexually-oriented, not tasteless and you are not posting an excessive quantity of them;
⦁ No one may upload or post any photorealistic images, regardless of its source (film-based or digital photography, high-definition Artificial Intelligence ["AI"], etc.) of anyone who is or appears to be under 18 at the time the picture was taken. We will generally allow occasional pictures of commercial diaper/pull-up packaging material that has a baby or other intended user of the product on it, but outside of this exception, any representation of a person appearing to be a minor must not be a representation of a real person, must be in an art style which is obviously not a photograph, must be clothed in a manner which is normative for someone of their apparent age, and must not be in a sexualized pose. Recognizing that what is normative varies somewhat from one culture to another, the administrators and moderators may err on the side of caution, and their decision is final.
⦁ Spamming such images in open or in Private Message(s) will result in immediate account deletion and ban;
⦁ No uploading AB/DL or non-AB/DL pictures of any member without their permission;
⦁ Storage space is limited and uploaded attachments (including images) may be pruned, compressed and/or resized to save storage space. We recommend images in 4:3 (or 3:4) ratio, minimum of 200x150 (150x200) and maximum of 600x600. Typically, the least-accessed uploads, such as attachments to conversation messages, are deleted first. Do not rely on this site for use as a permanent file storage service; we make no guarantee that content uploaded here will be available indefinitely.
13. Follow Moderation Staff Instructions.
Moderation Staff members will use the "Moderator" account. They may review any content you submit/upload/etc. on our site, without limitation. Staff members may also submit your submissions to third-party verification services (e.g: anti-spam filtering services) at our discretion. If a staff member tells you to stop doing something, then you must stop immediately. Do not argue; first & second refusal will result in moderation, third one in account deletion & ban. Members who reupload content removed by a moderator will be subjected to the same disciplinary measures.
14. If Disputing a Moderation Action, Use the Appropriate Venue.
⦁ The only acceptable way for a member to dispute a moderator action (such as a warning, post deletion, etc.) is to contact our admin via direct message;
⦁ If a member brings up their warning/post deletion/etc. in public, it is likely to lead to an additional action against them for violating this rule;
⦁ Attempting to register a new account(s) in order to circumvent the process will result in all your accounts being deleted and banned.
15. Don't Dox Yourself or Anyone Else.
⦁ Do not post or use your full name, street address, phone number, email address or any similar information that uniquely identifies you or anyone else anywhere in our site. If you feel you must give your own info to another member, do so via the "conversation" option on their profile;
⦁ If you can’t open a conversation (because you are not Established) yet, then you have to earn Established status first, then open it. Non-Establisheds can't try to sidestep this rule by openly posting their email/phone or any other off-site contact info. This rule exists to protect you and others by preventing SPANDI from appearing in internet search results when someone searches your email, phone number, etc. And don't post anyone else's personal information, either.
16. NO POLITICS.
⦁ This rule is strictly enforced! Do not discuss politics in our community. Any discussion of any political candidates or officials or their political affiliations or policies, is always considered political. Keep names of candidates, acting officials and political parties & movements OUT. Beyond that, our moderators determine what counts as political. If you think something might be political, ask us before posting it;
⦁ Any insults, innuendos, fights or flame-wars will see all violators involved being moderated for a time to be determined by the Staff. Any kind of attack, reprisal or revenge against any staffer for this action will result in immediate account deletion and ban for the violator(s).
17. Be Responsible in Conversations.
⦁ "Conversations" are messages that members (with the Established rank or higher) can send to each other through our site. You have to have the rank of Established or higher on our site to initiate a conversation with any member except our staff. Non-Established members can't try to work around this rule by posting their contact info publicly or otherwise fishing to try to get members to contact you off-site;
⦁ Conversation messages are NOT exempt from any of our rules unless The Rules specifically state that conversation messages are exempt from it. This means that, for example, you still have to be polite and respectful to people in conversations, you can't send porn via conversations, etc.;
⦁ As with the rest of SPANDI, if you encounter a conversation message that breaks our rules, it is your duty to report it, using the 'Report' button. Moderators may review conversation messages (whether reported or not) to ensure they comply with our rules.
⦁ If you wish to control who is allowed to start a conversation with you, use your account privacy settings page to do that.
18. Staffers' Judgments.
Staffers may remove content and/or individuals as they see fit, when they judge it to be in the best interests of our site to do so. For example, a Staffer may remove an individual who makes other members feel unsafe, even if they haven't clearly broken any other listed rule. A Staffer may also make case-by-case exceptions to listed rules, such as allowing a member to register and switch to using a second account for privacy reasons, even though second accounts are not normally allowed. Ultimately, this site is like a house party: you're a guest in the Staffers' virtual house, so please conduct yourself accordingly.
19. Company Reps.
⦁ Any individual who owns or works for any business which sells adult diapers or ABDL products is considered a "Company Rep" for the purposes of this rule;
⦁ Company Reps must contact us through the Contact Us form at the bottom of the page and be granted the special "Rep for [companyname]" title, before they start posting. When contacting us, please include your company name, company website URL, company email address and (if you don't already have one) and which username containing your company name you would like to use going forward;
⦁ Company reps may not market/advertise their products here, unless they either have approval from our Staffers to do so (request this at least one week in advance) or they are announcing the launch of an entirely original product of their own design. Announcing sales is also permitted, but only if the sale covers a wide variety of store items and the discount is at least 35%. The discount is measured from the normal price of the item over the last year, NOT the price as it was the day before the sale;
⦁ Company reps may not post on articles/threads about competitors' products, except to correct factually incorrect claims about the rep's own company, or their own company's product(s);
⦁ Nobody may use solely a name of a company as their username. Company reps can include their company name first in their username, but they must also include their name, nickname or another personal name after it. For example "Sam from XYZCorp" could be "XYZCorpSam" or "XYZCorpNicknameHere" but NOT simply "XYZCorp";
⦁ No SPANDI Company Rep accounts may be shared between multiple people (including employees of the same company) or registered using generic or team contact information (e.g., an info@domain.com email address). Every account must have a real person behind it who is individually accountable for the actions taken on that account. Company Rep accounts should use a verified @companyname email address so we can verify they truly belong to an employee of that company;
⦁ In the event that a company rep leaves their company, they lose their Company Rep status, and the company name part of their username. For example, "XYZCorpSam" would be renamed to "Sam" or another name of their choice. But they, NOT their company, would keep their SPANDI account. It would simply no longer be considered a company rep account at that point;
⦁ Company Reps will not lie to SPANDI's members or Staffers. Any representative who does so risks having their entire company blocked here and all Company Reps of that company may be removed from SPANDI. In the event that a member alleges a company rep lied to them, SPANDI's staff may investigate and their Company Reps must cooperate in this investigation. This rule is rarely invoked and typically only used in cases where a Company Rep uses a face-saving lie which is obviously and immediately provable to be false;
⦁ Company Reps have special permission to maintain a separate personal SPANDI account to protect their privacy and avoid everything they say being associated with their company; however, this personal account must be disclosed to staff in advance via a "City Hall>Requests" forum thread, and it may not be used to participate in any discussions around their company or any of its competitors.
20. Be Smart and Safe about Meet-ups.
⦁ Real-life meet-ups may only be advertised/discussed in open forum;
⦁ Any AB/DL meet-ups advertised/discussed will be strictly 18+ only;
⦁ Meet-ups will not be sexually-oriented. We're a support site, not a hookup site;
⦁ We reserve the right to veto advertisement/discussion of a meet-up if we feel it is unsafe, unsuitable or irrelevant;
⦁ Anyone attending a meet-up does so at their own risk.
21. Other Legal Terms.
• This web site and its owner are located in the United States, and subject to the laws of the United States. All content uploaded must comply with the laws of the United States and the laws of the jurisdiction(s) where the uploaded is physically located. This includes, but is not limited to, laws governing allowable content, and laws governing copyright. Users shall refrain from posting or uploading anything that violates the laws of the United States and/or the user's local laws.
⦁ Content submitted here expresses only the views of its author. The views and opinions expressed by such a user may not necessarily reflect those of the Staffers of the site. We are not responsible for user-generated content and accounts;
⦁ You agree we are not liable to you for anything or anyone (content, behavior, people, etc.) you encounter on here. This includes but is in no way limited to a situation where you encounter a scammer on our platform. You are responsible for exercising all due caution in your interactions with other people, including your interactions with people you encounter here, both on and off our platform. If you encounter a scammer here, report it to us;
⦁ You are granting us a non-exclusive, permanent, irrevocable, unlimited license to use, publish, or re-publish your content in connection with the service. This unlimited license persists even if you or we later close, ban and/or delete your account;
⦁ We may remove or modify any content submitted at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice;
⦁ Requests for content to be removed or modified will be undertaken only at our discretion;
⦁ We may terminate your access to all or any part of the service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice;
⦁ This document is not an exhaustive list of terms. Other terms, such as our privacy policy, also apply;
⦁ These terms may be changed at any time without notice;
⦁ If you do not agree with these rules/terms, you may not use this site;
⦁ These rules are retroactive from the time of their posting to the time of this website's origin. There is no "grandfathering" or "grandfather clause" here.
